DESCRIPTION: High-quality sealing compound comprised of acrylic latex essential for non-fire-rated penetrations and joints in achieving and maintaining the required Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating for airborne sound and preventing the passage of smoke and toxic gases in smoke barrier partitions, as required by the IBC.

Metacaulk RS 136 Fire Block / Smoke Seal Caulk
DESCRIPTION: Incombustible fire-block, smoke-seal, acoustic-block and draft-stop caulk that beds and seals small voids, splices and gaps. Not for use in continuous vibration or wet environments.
FEATURES:
- Inorganic material with no volatile solvents (particularly useful when installing in confined spaces or occupied areas); does not have asbestos fillers
- An easy installation sealant with water cleanup capabilities; no mixing or special skills necessary & no required additives; applied with a conventional caulking gun

DESCRIPTION: Extremely flexible single-component elastomeric sealant and spray for construction joint openings, curtain walls and large openings containing metallic penetrants, which cures to mastic suitable for dynamic movement areas and fire-rating.
